What started as trading photos with friends in high school turned into senior portraits in college, and then into Photography by Falicia back in Redding, CA in 2009. Since then there's been a lot of brand name changes, a lot of moves, and a lot of couples who walked in as strangers and left as friends.
I built Flynn Studios on patience, presence, and the belief that an honest moment is worth preserving.
I'm also a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
For years I've worked with kids and adults with disabilities, reading subtle cues, building sensory-considerate spaces, and making people feel safe when the world feels loud.
I bring all of that to your wedding day.
Every package is individualized because no person or COUPLE is the same. If you need extra reassurance in front of the camera, a quieter approach to family formals, help choosing attire based on color palette and mood, or just someone to make you laugh until the real smiles come out — that's literally my skill set.

My husband is my second shooter, my favorite co-pilot, and the calm to my energizer-bunny energy.
I'm the hype woman, director, dress-fluffer, timeline-keeper who will make you feel comfortable in two seconds. He's the steady one. The quiet one. The one making the groomsmen actually enjoy photos. As a retired officer in the military, he will anticipate any future issues.
When we shoot together:
You get one cohesive team and one creative vision. One point of contact (me, I always respond quickly — my husband's least favorite quality of mine), but two perspectives who know exactly what the other needs without having to say it.
Most couples book us for photo + video together because it just makes the day smoother. But if you just need a second shooter for photo, he's your guy too.
And yes, he also agrees that the dogs are the real bosses.
You've probably noticed my images don't all look the same — light & airy one day, warm & rustic the next, moody when the moment calls for it. That's on purpose. I edit true-to-life, true-to-color and I let your story lead. No cookie cutters here.
This is where individualization occurs. not one wedding is the same. The bride and groom could choose the exact same color pallets and the exact same location, but the decor, lighting, and weather are all different making their day as unique as a fingerprint.
From the moment you reach out I start taking the load off your shoulders. Timeline help, location scouting, referrals, what to do when your flower girl is DONE — if you need to vent, call. I'm here for the prep AND the day-of.
I do personalized consults in-person at my studio in Baxter, a coffee shop in the Brainerd Lakes area (preferred as I love talking over coffee) or virtually, so everything actually feels like you.
You'll find me with my husband, our three dogs, and our newest addition who made me a mama in late 2025.
Or I'm at the gym, with friends, playing with the pups, at poker night, at church, or on the Xbox when I can sneak it in. I'm an open book, so ask me about anything.
